Stuart Mitchell

My research has been in improving the efficiency and productivity of businesses through optimisation of their decision making. I have worked with the Mining, Forestry, Public Transport, Aluminium and Advertising industries. Currently, I am working as a freelance consultant with a specialisation in programming software for the optimisation of such problems.

I am the maintainer of the open source software Pulp that is now being used around the world to both teach and practice this kind of mathematical optimisation.
